    Floorboards and evaporative air conditioning.
I want to get laminate floorboards installed but have evaporative air conditioning. I am now worried that the moisture in the air may cause the boards to warp. Are there any types of floorboards that are better than others when considering evap air cond? Thanks

Engineered laminate? I think the word laminate by itself refers to imprinted fake wood flooring. Assuming you live in a dry climate where evaporative a.c. would be used, you should have much less to fear about the flooring than other objects such as antique wood and electronics and metal. The flooring should be fine from above. (If you put it on a damp slab, there's more concern, but it can withstand dampness from below with a membrane).
