    Clitoral yeast infection?
Not officially diagnosed with a yeast infection because I was on my period when I went. Symptoms included red, inflamed, itchy and burning clitoris and hood as well as the same symptoms on the tops of my labia minora... doctor prescribed diflcuan... took it... next day lots of white discharge that turned to a crust locking my hood and tips of my labia together... "crust seems to be getting less" took another diflucan four days later... still itchy... can't leave it alone and when I have removed the crust in the shower the last two days I seem to have cut myself on either side of my **** (if you pull back the hood it is tiny where the hood lining meets the labia) and now all freaked out about herpes... any help would be awesome!

He gave you medication to treat a fungal infection but it seems you may be allergic to this med, but it is only my opinion, jadum. I don't think you should be having a 'crust' in your private area that you have to 'remove'. For sure does not sound right and I think, now that you are not on your period, you should go back to him and explain the way you did here.

Don't freak out about herpes unless you know you have been exposed to it.

Edit: I wouldn't be removing that crust; I would suggest just soaking it off and not touching it. Once you break the skin (which you have, as you say must have cut yourself), then that leaves you open to infection. Not a good place to have an open wound.
