A lien is an encumbrance against real property that prevents it from being transferred without satisfying the lien. So I think you mean a levy or attachment. Nothing was placed on your disability. A levy is against a bank account. If you can prove that all or a substantial portion of the balance of that account came from sources exempt from garnishment, you may be able to get the levy released. But we need more details to advise.
