Sub-leasing of office condo and association approval
I own an office condo in Florida, and am trying to sub-lease it; which is permitted by the bylaws, pending approval of the particular business by the Association. Basically, certain types of businesses are not allowed and parking is limitted. I received a 'prospective tenant information and approval form' from the Association president, which asks very detailed information about my tenant and requests 3 years past work history/ employers information, past leasing history, ages, date of birth, 3 references, a copy of the new lease, and more.. My question is this: Does an association have the right to request such kind of personal and past history information from my prospective tenant? Do I have to submit a copy of the lease?
