Lately, my girlfriend has been experiencing some strange things at home. For example, she unplugs her TV whenever she is not using it, but lately, she has unplugged it, gone downstairs and then when she goes back upstairs, it is plugged in, and turned on. Also she has had things moved around, weird squiggles on steamed up windows, banging in her room but no one else can hear it, and a couple of times she has had marks on her arms when she wakes up, that look like someone has grabbed her. None of this has happened when I'm there, which leads me to the conclusion that its either scared/threatened by me, or just wants her instead of both. I'm quite worried so if someone can explain, I will be very grateful!

Or, maybe she needs lots of attention.

She's not an attention seeker, I would like a sensible answer to this please

It isn't easy to find someone who will give the kind of answer you are hoping for. To me it sounds like a combination of a bit of compulsive behavior (not many people unplug TVs) and a subconscious desire to have you around more.
Also, you make it sound like she lives alone but then mention noises that no one else hears, so who else is there? They may be the ones drawing on the windows with their fingers and plugging the TV back in.

I don't know how many times I have thought I did or didn't do something around the house that I really did or didn't do. But I'm 64 and I accept the fact that my short term memory isn't as sharp as it used to be.

Once back in the 60s I was seriously distraught and depressed and looked out my window and saw my truck start to creep along the driveway, tiniest slope down. I had left it in neutral and it had no parking brake, but at the time I was freaked out due to my emotional state.

Many things happen that cannot be explained.

Many more strange things happen that can be explained by logical, rational thought and investigation.

What appear to be shapes and figures can be reflected lights or dust in the air or any number of things.

The fields electric currant emit can affect how we feel and make you uneasy.
Variation in the power supply to your house can cause appliances to do things they normally don't.

When we get scared we perceive things differently than we do when we are not scared.

If you believe that paranormal things are happening you may begin to look for them which may mask the true cause.

Look for logical explanations first.

But at the same time , keep a record of what happens and to whom it happens.

Try recording , taking pictures, or video and see if anything shows up.

I have experienced paranormal events and take this very

Those are very logical reasons, but I doubt it. I just want a professional physic or someone tbh. She is 16 and lives with her parents, and no, they have honestly denied plugging it in, or the windows.

First of course when there is a real inspection for anything not ordinary, you have to rule out the others.

Yes you don't want to think she is faking or lying to get attention, but then people who cut themselves or do other self harm don't admit that either.

So marks on windows, there are all sorts when windows fog up , unless they are spelling words or making pictures, not really proof any anything ( I saw abe lincoln in a window fog once, or so it looked like it)

Banging, older homes or even new homes with water pipes not properly installed, animals in attic, limbs hitting house, it goes on and on

TV, she could be just forgetting to unplug it sometimes,
What is sort of scareful is that she "unplugs" it when leaving room, why ? That is not in and of itself a normal activity

Cuts on arms when waking, if they are real noticeable scratches, she could be doing it herself in her sleep, from nerves or worry and the such. ** it is a very common thing to happen.

If she would sleep perhaps with knit gloves or mittens, on, and it stops, that would be a good sign there.

First always look for the basic or simple answer, if and only if you rule them out, you move on to other ideas.

A 'professional" psychic is at best a tough path.

99% will be people with a good deal of knowledge of how to
Get money out of people with problems by telling them
Whatever they feel they need to hear .

If you have a web cam , set it up to show the plug area where you plug in the TV
, unplug it and leave the cam running or set the motion detector . If someone plugs it in... you'll know.

See if you can record the noises like the banging in her room.

Take pictures of the squiggles .

Note the time of every event in a notebook or on your computer.

You can begin to investigate as well as anybody and the price is only minimal effort on your part.

I agree with martinizing2. Stay away from the "psychic" path. There are just too many reasons to list to not get involved with that nonsense. If she is frequently having troubles like that with her TV, get a video camera or webcam to document what is going on. Paranormal things do exist, but let's rule out the natural first.

You know, sometimes the mind plays tricks on people. She`s just scared a lot, so try to calm her down. There`s no use saying there doesn`t exist beings that are invisible, because they do (jinn), but it sounds to me that she`s more of like a child scared at night and imagining thing, you understand? And a person in that state will easily switch of something and turn it on and do irrational things unknowingly, because they are mentally preoccupied by constant fear. So as a muslim I will pray for you, and in any case it will benefit to go to www.all-quran.com, and listen to any Suurah (Chapter) recited in arabic as it was revealed by Gabriel frim God to Muhammad -peace be upon him, and may Allaah elevate his mentioning.
She might benefit from psychic medication, if she receives good treatment.

As for the scratching in the night, she has probably accidentally done it to herself in a nightmare, and as for the sounds that she hears and other symptoms, then they may be a sign of paranoid skitsofrenia. She should ask God to protect herself, and guide her to a good doctor if He knows it best for herself, because truly He knows everything, and there is no power without Him, and He is The Most Just, The Most Wise. He knows, and we don`t know. And mental illness is like physical illness. Unfortunately they are often chronic conditions, but as Allaah has taught man what he knew not, there are good medicines that can keep the symptoms more easily controlled, and help to life a healthy life. It`s nothing to be ashamed of.

AbuBakr... Allah is so all knowing and powerful... yet he's going to make us seek out medications and psychiatric care? Jesus Christ empowered all of His followers with power over such things in His name. God IS loving and merciful, you are correct, but He also gives us the tools to combat these things... not just wishful thinking and hoping that playing a recited piece of scripture scares off spiritual attackers.

This may not be much help, but it may be a demon who want out with her. They are troublesome spirits who may seem threatening to us, but I think they really are just troubled spirits. They tend to get theyr own way with think such as physically contacting us or doing something to attract our attention to get a message. Do some research if you are concerned. It could just be the "other" being in the house wanting out with her either that or she needs attention.she is probably just immagining things from the logical side of view.

I said they because I had taken pictures and videos.I don't know what they want from me or from my child. But I have awoken with bruises, cuts and nose bleeds. I even attended the recent LAX Hilton's paranormal convention to further understand. My answers and experiences gears towards the "alien" phenomena.
