Can you think of some points where the x-coordinate is 1? How about (1,0)? Or (1,-6)? Or (1,51.26)? Every one of those points fits the equation x=1. There are an infinitely more of them, of course, but if you take a piece of graph paper and plot lots and lots of them, you'll find you end up with a vertical line.
That's it. That's your answer: a vertical line which crosses the x-axis at x=1.
