    Getting rid of chimney
Does anybody know if this is easy to do? And the costs involved? It runs through the middle of the house, with the kitchen one side and the living room the other.

    Many thanks

Sorry... but this really is one of those things that if you have to ask... then you know it's not going to be. Its going to be expensive... and a LOT of work. You have floors, walls, ceilings and Roof. And its not a do-it-yourself project.

Time is money... a lot of time = a LOT of money. Exactly how much depends on what the people of the right experience get paid in your area. And that can vary a HUGE amount.

Question... why does it have to be removed?

Aaa that's a shame.. Its quite a big shape and takes up a lot of space in the kitchen.
