    Full custody for the mother?
I am a single mother to 5 children I have been separated from there father since 2005 and have received no child support from him what so ever! He has been in and out of jail since 2005 I ave many isses with him wanting to see my children, I do not feel my children r safe with him due to his past history and issues with the law- e very so often he tends to make threats towards mein most incidence I would ignore but latley the treats have been getting worse what I need to know is how can I obtain full n sole custody of my children?

You go to court and ask for it. This is more of a legal problem, I'm going to ask that this question be moved to the legal boards so that our legal experts can give you better, more detailed answers.

Yes, you have to go to court to apply for sole legal and physical custody. If you can prove the father is a danger to the children you may be able to get his rights terminated.

I agree with the other two answer you can ask the court for sole full custody, and explain to them how you feel that your kids may be indangered. And try and get proof of the threats he's been making to you, the more proof you have the better chance you have.
