I fixed a drippy kitchen faucet and know do not have any hot water. The valve on the bottom is turned on

Most likely, when you turned the shutoff back on parts of the old washer or some sediment got sent up into the faucet and clogged the cartridge assembly.
I would recommend that you disassemble the faucet, clean the cartridge and check for any blockages by pulsing the water on (cartridge still removed), being sure to cover the faucet with a rag, and then reassemble all and see how you did.
If that fails to work then the cartridge assembly may need to be replaced.
