Mud coming out of basement drain
We have had lots of ice this winter and the weather is starting to get warmer. Have outside walk out basement drain and it had ice covering it. When I looked in my basement, there is mud (not much) coming out of drain in shower and another drain (about 15 ft. from shower drain), has a lot of mud around the drain. Took cover off drain and lots of mud. Did the weather cause this?

What can I do to fix this? I have called local county sewer company to come check the main line. The weather should be in the high 40s starting tomorrow and maybe up to 60 degrees F by the end of the week.

I don't want to call Roto Rooter unless I have to. Thanks.

P.S. Sewer company was just here, main line is clear, my "vent" is clear (I call it the drain that is in the middle of the yard), and they suggest it could be "tree material". I really think it is related to the ice though. What do you think?
