Can't remember the name/author of an astronomy book
I bought it for $5 at a Powells at least 5 years ago. The book started with the author talking about his favorite bumpersticker, about the speed of light being a law. He also talked about being a bit of a time nut, making sure his clocks and watches are as accurate as possible, and going to the library where it was closed 2 minutes early and he could prove it because of his time freakness. Book also talked about betelgeuse, and the moon, and other things you can see with your naked eye, and was sorted by seasons. It was written in a very light hearted way and was actually very funny in places. In the back of the book I believe there was info such as dates of eclipses or binocular recommendations or something like that. There were very few pictures/charts in the book, and they were all in black and white.

This ring a bell to anyone? I've been dying to find it again.
