All the lights on the trunk are out: backup lights, license plate lights, and running lights. I've replaced the bulbs and fuses. Still no light. Everything else works fine.
I've followed the wiring harness but can't find a problem.
Anybody familiar with this. I'm hoping that somebody like kitch428 has seen this before.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So how far back did you check that harness?
All you have to do is lay in the trunk with your legs sticking out, look up while opening and closing the trunk lid slightly, and watch where the harness is bending all the time.
That's the spot! There will be multiple wires most likely. Not just one.
