19 1/2 years ago my wife hit another car,We did not have ins.state farm ins hired a lawer,lawer and court placed a judgement.D&V will not let my Wife get her lic. Until the Judgement is taken care of.My wife has not been able to get a drivers lic for almost 20 years.Threw out the years we have contacted the lawer to try to make payments.They turned 3600. Into 12000. We don't have much money and always made an offer to start paying,and always are told that its not accepted.In an email yesterday I offered 300. Down and told them we can afford 40. A month.It was denied.We live in Florida and wonder what we can do about this.Thank You.

You put that much in the bank and make payments to the bank account, then you can pay the lump sum.

Or you don't ask them and merely start paying a sum each month and see if they accept it or send it back.

Had you been putting 50 dollars a month in the bank you could pay them in full today after 20 years
