I tried to plumb a shower in all by myself and as soon as I turned water supply back on the water flow is just like turning a tap on through my shower head. I'm female yes but not think?? I have checked I have done every thing correct could the flow valve be faulty?

It could b faulty but the chances are much greater there was an installation error. Is this a tub w/shower or stand alone shower stall. Which brand and model valve did you install?
