My 10-year-old cat died today, she had lost weight had yesterday something happened to her, she just lay there not eating and she could not see, early this morning she died can you tell me what was wrong with her? Please

I'm so sorry to hear your cat died.

Of course, without an necropsy, no one will know what she actually died of. The weight loss could have been diabetes or a thyroid problem. She could have had a stroke.

My favorite, bestest ever cat died almost two years ago, and I miss him every single day. Just know that your life was better because of your cat being in it (and hers was better because of you).

I lost one of mine that quick too. He had Feline Leukemia. Only a necropsy will be able to determine the cause of death.
