Well, IV basically been meeting men online, who are pretty much sweet to me, but I'm not letting my guard down with these men, because some men are just out on the net with bad intentions, but then again some are truly online for love. I'm just confused with who is being Genuine and who isn't.

If you think that one person might be interesting, then give them some time to show you their good side. I suggest that you focus on sending a few messages online in the beginning to see where that leads. If it feels good, then step it up to the phone. Once you feel comfortable enough, then you can meet them for a date. Make sure it's a neutral location, i.e. don't go to each other's houses.

Then let it flow from there.

I'm going to tell you this, online dating as convienant as it may seem is not the best choice. People can say anything, but how can you hear tone or see facial expression online unless your using webacam of course. If I were you I would go out more, to a bookstore or join a club, this is a great way to meet in interact with people you can actually see.

I agree with I wish, but had to spread the rep. In my personnel opinion there is nothing wrong with online dateing just make sure it's a reputable site!! Then follow I wish advice. Make sure you listen to your instincts when meeting any one.

Meeting someone on line is really no different than meeting them at a bar, or at the club or at walmart, you meet, and talk, and decide to try and find out more about each other.

Assuming these are not long distant relationships, but close enough to actually meet, you meet and go from there
