I took 2 tests the day before yesterday,they both came back positive! By my last period I am 4 weeks along, but my period was abnormally short normal days are 6-8 days, this time it was only 3 days and not as heavy.Could I be further along??

You could be. Your doctor will be able to give you a better idea once you have an ultrasound done.
