Why would the pilot light go out and where is it located?
On a rheem furnace, model#3302-77 and serial#089edpn4e, wher is the pilot?

    T-Top
That's not the full and or correct model# you gave. A standing pilot flame sets right in front of the burner or burners. If it's a standing pilot the thermocouple may be bad. Some old rheem units used mercury flame sensors that would plug on top of the gas valves.
