Long story short.. had d&c perfomed after no fetal heartbat dec 2010 & first period came jan 17h(6weeks afetr d&c) when did ovualte & when can I expect next period.. I been trying to conceive but I just need to know when I ovulated to see if I will be pregnant

A starting place is that you will likely ovulate about 12-16 days before a period is due. Some women will naturally ovulate a bit sooner or later than this on a regular basis.

What was your menstrual cycle like before? Were your periods usually regular? There is no reason to believe they won't continue to remain regular.

While you could get pregnant the first cycle of trying, remember that it doesn't always happen so quickly. Most couples will become pregnant in the first year of trying, but some will find it takes a bit longer.

My cycle was normal but having the miscarriage does it throw it off?

It could, but having a period about 6 weeks after the d & c was perfectly normal. Your next period may come when you would expect it, for example if your cycles before were 29 days, you might expect it sometime next week.

It really will be a matter of waiting and seeing how it goes for you.
