I started my period Jan 6th and have always been pretty regular at 28 days. I still haven't started my period today on Feb 10th. I had a some light pink spotting yesterday, mostly while wiping. I thought my period had come but the bleeding only lasted about an hour. I'm still showing a (-) hpt as of Tuesday. I was told something about lunar spontaneous ovulation. Any ideas?

Many things factor into menstruation: including birth control, stress, weight, etc.

Are you on birth control? Have you missed any days or misused your BC in anyway?
Has work/school/personal life been at a higher stress level lately?
Have you gained or lost weight recently?

These could be reasons your period is off this month. Definitely monitor your cycle and see a doctor if your period doesn't come.

I am not on because because we are trying to get pregnant. That is why I have been watching my cycle so close. I have not gained or lost any weight, no stress, and the only weird thing was I was 2 days early last month. Other than that I have been very regular. I have been off birth control since the middle of September but not really trying until recently.
