I have a Whirlpool/U.S. Mastercraft hot water heater from Lowe's # BFG1F3030S3NOV and the pilot goes out sporadically. It is probably around 10 years old.
The pilot light will stay lit for 2 or 3 weeks then go out, then it will go out after one day.
It was moved recently and the problem started after the move. I suspect it had something to do with the wind, but I fiz all of the places wind could be getting in and it is still doing it.
Any ideas?
Oh, once lit, the heater works as it should.
