I have a slight light yellow discharge, it doesn't burn, itch, nor does it have a fish smell. It does have a type of smell to it but it isn't foul. What can this be?

Sounds like an infection. Time to get it checked by a doctor.

It seems completely physiological.unless its foul smelling,blood stained,itchy or involves wit low back pain there is no need to fret about it.it depends on the day of your menstrual cycle.for some women it increases around the time of ovulation and for some around premenstrual time.it sometimes happens when sexually stimulated.the smell is normal.if its excessive or if it has any of the above said characteristics then it is a must you must consult a doctor
