I am a Canadian citizen living in Ontario, Canada that is married to a UK citizen... He currently is living in the UK as we are doing Canadian immigration. So he is not a Canadian citizen and does not have a social insurance number... How do I file my taxes? As married or single? I have been told by different sources two totally different things. I'm also told that I need to claim his income but if he's not here living in Canada with me and is not a citizen, why do I need to claim his income if I'm not seeing any of it...
