Hello, so I see I'm not the only person who is searching for the title of a movie that was viewed as a child. This has been driving me crazy for years, I so wish I could find out the name of the movie so I can watch it again!

The move was from the late 80's possible early 90's. It was rented from Blockbuster twice so I must have seen it 4 or 5 times. Here is what I remember about the movie.

* The beginning of the movie is real human actors, in a house. There is an older brother and a little sister. I think the mom goes to work.
* I remember a scene where either a stuffed animal or something of the sort is accidentally put in a clothes dryer and come out as this fictional live character (something like a muppet)
* The children go into one of their closets in their bedrooms and there is a passage or hole that leads to (or maybe they fall to) a secret world with more of the muppet like characters.
* From there all I remember is the journey in the secret world to find a special tree that grows the fruit that must be eaten in order to get back home.

The Hugga Bunch Movie?

OMG I just youtubed the Hugga Bunch movie. That is it! Wow I love the internet. Thanks!! I loved that movie. But now I think it's a little creepy. But I can't wait to watch it again in it's entirety.
