    Abs to heating duct clearance
Is there a basic air gap spec for abs to heating duct clearance in side a coffer? My trusses say not to cut them (my house and I talk alot) so I need to follow the ducts to get to my vent stack. In the wall type vent does not sit well with me. Thanks for any help!

    Hi Steve...

No spec. per say, but common sense would certainly dictate that you keep the ABS pipe from touching the duct work and you should be fine.

With that being said, what is the ABS for? If this is a vent or a waste line, then the above recommendation is fine. If other, please let me know more and I'll respond after work today, OK?
