She needs to take a pregnancy test. You can buy one at the drug store. Follow the directions exactly. If it's negative you wait and see if she gets her period at her next scheduled time. If she doesn't, test again, or get a blood test done at the doctors office.

The fact is that no birth control method is 100%. Every time you have sex there's a chance of pregnancy. If you want to be completely safe, the only option is to stop having sex.

As far as I know, it's too late to be "safe." Too much time has gone by.

First, WG isn't a doctor. Second, the date doesn't really matter, she's late for her period, that's what matters.

    The advice remains the same.

At this point the best thing to do would be for her to take a HPT using first morning urine to find out whether she is indeed pregnant.

Once you find out that she is, there are other options such as keeping the baby, abortion or adoption. The morning after pill only works if taken within approximately 24 hours after intercourse.

Please keep all info on one question in the same thread.

I've asked the mods to merge this question with your other question, as they're both about the same thing.

    No.

There's no pill that's 100% effective. Even if you use 2 or more forms of birth control (pill, condom, etc) there's still a chance of pregnancy.

The fact is, even with all the birth control available, pregnancy can still occur. That's the risk you take when having sex.

Being on the pill does reduce the risks, but it doesn't eliminate them.

It's a bit late to be thinking about ways to prevent pregnancy. Right now you have to find out if she is indeed pregnant.

There are no "pills" you can buy. She would have to have an abortion. Any "pills" would be given under doctor's supervision in a hospital setting.
