I have been renting with my 3 children for 3 years I left my expartner in the house we own together . The children are getting very unsettled as we have moved 4 times since then ,I just need to know if I could ask him to leave and we move back in I don't know what my rights are please help?

For starters what caused the break up? I ask that because if it was a mutual break then I can't believe he let you leave with your children. A man with any respect would leave and let his children stay where they are already settled and comfortable. Have you talked with him about this? This isn't good for the kids.

If the break was because of some form of abuse then I would think it wise not to mention it and maybe ask legal advice from someone. If your name is also on the house then its time to take it off or settle this in some way. Not all first consultations are free.
