I've been bleeding for seven days, very very heavily. I rarely ever even have a period. I've been feeling kind of dizzy and have gone through six pads and about as many tampons just today alone, and even with doubling up I bleed through.

Is this occurring at the usual time you would expect your period? Since it is unusual for you it merits having your doctor check things out.
