Under the "fair use" criteria, I can publish this material~
But real player won't let me "share" on you tube things that are already on the internet.
How are these other people doing it? I want to download sermons and music (almost all audio, some with video too) and then put pictures and words with a movie maker. Not sure how to do that either since windows movie maker is not very user friendly.
Please help! This project is so important to me. : )

Because it sounds like you are trying to link other material... VS upload it.

And to upload it you have to have the file to upload physically on your computer..

How do I do that? Get it IN my computer?

You are going to have to get an application that can capture streaming video... and know how to use it...

Unfortunately... none I have seen and used so far are all that easy to use for the non-computer geek.

Mostly because they aren't intended to be captured by the places that host them.

But the reality here is if you ask that question... you really don't understand the full scope of what's out there... and that its in many different formats... some easier than others to capture to those you simply download.

It's a VERY broad question. Worthy of a book on its own... much less having a simple answer.

I use YouTube downloader. This takes streaming video off the web (youtube and other sites) and saves it to your PC. (click HERE to look at Youtube Downloader)

Another thing to think about is your audio, when you upload a video onto YouTube it will look at your soundtrack and look for copyright infringement. If you do not have rights to share that audio the audio will be muted until you change it via Youtubes Audio swapper.

I have used Movie Maker to create a video w/song(s) of me blowing things up (I'm in the Marines) and Youtube made me swap out the songs because of a copyright issue. (although these songs were bought legally, I didn't have the rights to share them)

MovieMaker; although difficult, is a very useful tool once you get to learn it. There are far better programs out there but MovieMaker is efficient enough for the novice video creator. I would suggest learning MovieMaker...
