My boyfriend owns his own business. Yesterday he said he wanted some self time, so I didn't see him yesterday,I didn't call or text him today. Then tonight he called and asked if I could work for his business tomorrow. We usually see each other 5 days out of 7 and now this.

Why is this a bad thing? I don't understand.

He needed some time alone. I've been with my husband for 20 years, if I didn't get a little breathing room once in a while, he may well be buried in the back yard. ;)

Being comfortable enough to tell the person you love that you need some alone time, is a good thing. It means he cares about you enough, and trusts you enough, to be totally honest with you.

Being together every moment you can is not always a good thing. You do need time to yourself as well.

Sometimes people need time to themselves to think. Just let it go, it was nothing.
