1099Q; did pay tuition for daughter but don't want to claim her.
I got a 1099Q form for money used for my daughter's tuition; however I don't want to claim her as a dependent. Is there a way to justify the tuition that I did pay without claiming her?

You cannot claim any tuition credit for your child IF you do not claim her as a dependent. The qualifications for Form 1099-Q income seems to follow the same guidelines.
