    Hip discomfort
Does anyone have any suggestions for how to ease hip discomfort. My hips are starting to widen and loosen now, and (esp when I first wake in the morning, after having to sleep on one side or another all night long) they are starting to ache. Does anyone know if yoga, or excerise programs such as that would help?

Do you have some other ailment like lupus or rhumatoid arthritis? I have severe hip pain and knee pain that keeps me up all night and recently just found something that works. I know that my pain is athritis. I have tried acetaminophen, ibuprofen, perkoset, vicaden nothing works except for this. But I am leary to give out medicine information. Although my doctor is the one who suggested it. He told me to take two aleve and one tylenol. I don't know how this will effect you so you may want to consult a pharmacist first before you try it. But for me its been a miracle! I actually sleep at night now.

No, I don't have any other problems. Its just since I am getting farther along in my pregnancy that its starting to bother me. Happened last time too, but it was a month or so later in my first pregnancy

Oh I did not realize you were pregnant. Sorry, unfortunately its probably just one of the many discomforts of pregnancy. Extra weight, etc. Then for sure don't take the Aleve and Tylenol!! I was kind of wondering why you said your hips were widening etc. I think I need another cup of coffee or something, don't know how I missed that!! LOL

Hahha no problem! I should have just said I was in my 6th month of pregnancy. I just didn't know if prenatal yoga would help with that. They always promote doing yoga during pregnancy, and I was just wondering what advantages it has to it. Hah thanks for the reply

No problem. You may want to check with your doc first before you start any kind of exercise, even yoga. Just be careful is all I'm saying. Good Luck!
