I have 10 years old GE GSS25LGMA side by side refrigrator. Its Ice maker and Water dispenser stopped working. I checked the water main supply line to the unit which is OK. The water does flow up to the filter inside the refrigrator. But there s no water supply to Ice maker and Water dispenser. The frezzer door & ice maker does have electric supply. When clicking the lever on the water dispenser I do get some sound but no water. Ice maker is also not getting the water supply. Please help.

You mentioned its 10 yrs old, have you ever replaced the filter? Fridge filters are much smaller than whole house filters and depending on how often you use the water and ice, they will not last as long.

Thanks for your responde, Yes I did replaced the filter (filter is only 2 months old) too with a factory cap. The water does comes up the filter connector when ever the water dispenser lever is activated. No supply to the water dispenser & Ice maker

When did this start happening? If soon after changing the filter, there might be a piece of mineral scale blocking the water line between the filter and the ice/water dispenser. The water lines inside the fridge are much thinner than the supply to the fridge, making them more prone to becoming clogged.

It startedf happening 3 days back but the filter was replaced 3/4 months back. Do you know which part may be faulty which need replacement. Please send me digrams if you have.
