    Removing a 240v baseboard heater
    Hello,

I removed a baseboard heater, and now three other baseboard heaters in the house do not work. After some thought and research, I think it is possible that the heaters are wired in series, and that I removed the last one in the series, and now none of them work.

What is my next step? Is it okay to tie the two wires (one black and one white) together in a junction box?

How many wires and what colors do you have attached to the heater. Do not connect the black and white

Yes! Turn the breaker off, wire nut the wires together-is the white wire marked with black tape to indicate it is a conductor?-Turn on the breaker. Turn on the T'stat.
