I am 4 months pregnant and this is my first pregnancy. This morning I woke up and when I wiped there was a bright pink color on the toilet paper. The next two times I went to the restroom it was a lighter pink. I have had no cramps. I know this week I would have been on my period if I wasn't pregnant, so could that be why I am spotting?

It could be from hormone changes. Did you by any chance have intercourse recently? Sometimes spotting for a day or two afterwards will occur. Since it is so light, and not accompanied by pain, it is likely due to one of those two possibilities, but certainly check with your doctor or midwife if it causes you concern.
