Second, Your W2 forms were supposed to be mailed to you. What makes you think they are online?

Actually, accessing the W-2 online is rather common now.

The federal government has done it for their employees for at least a decade, and many state governments and large corporations with any employees do the same.

It is much easier, quicker and cost efficient than mailing out the forms.
