Istikhara on divorce with an already lost husband.
I am separated from my husband for 14months now, whom I've been with only for a year. Through out our marriage my husband been very deceiving to me. He has cheated on me in the form of adultery and etc. And finally he left and went back to the woman he was/is involved with, who happens to be his close relative. Although we have a child together and now he has contact with our son. We don't talk, and it seems he has no intension to return back to me and will be prepared for divorce if I ask for it. Only it is me who Can't bear the thought of living my life without him, despite knowing he is not faithful and probably never will be. My family, relatives, and friends everybody keep telling me to divorce him and move on, since there's no guarantee that he will ever return and I only will be wasting my life if I wait.It is therefore I am considering to perform an istikhara. My question is can anybody tell me under my circumstance if I perform istikhara and in my dream Allah directs me to remain with this marriage and wait for him to return, which might take half of my life. Should I wait?

He is already gone, and there is no need to wait, so get it made official, so you can have a life that makes you happy.
