    Leaking Shower drain
I have a drain in my upstairs shower that is leaking, was wondering, in order to reseal the outer gasket do I have to unscrew or is this cemented right to the pvc pipe? Also could it be the inner black gasket?http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v8...r/IMG_3707.jpg

Help. I have the same issue. The drain is leaking to the below ceiling. The drain is not the type that unscrews that is available at Lowe's or Home Depot. Mine looks the same but the black portion is not rubber---it is hard plastic and everything seems to be glued in place. But it is leaking into the ceiling just below. The metal screen or grate came off easy enough but again, everything else seems solid.

What is the best way to repair this without cutting a hole in the ceiling? Is there a repair drain that maybe could slip inside this one if the old one was completely chipped out? Any help is appreciated.

    Regards, DAVE
