    Can courts order men to take dna test in pa for a baby?
    My son old girl friend is going to have a baby she called him and told him he was the father and then told him he wasn't. She wants him to pay for a dna he told her no it wasn't his so now she said she will take both men to court and make them pay to see who the dad is can the courts in pa do this? Make the man pay for it is my ?

    THey sure can... and in fact, enough women lie about who the father could be... thats the only way to be sure. DNA tests don't lie. And if he is.. he's going to pay. If I was accused I'd Demand the DNA test before I accepted responsibility.

    If he is the father can he get custody where he has the baby as much as the mom? And if u get that do you pay child suport?

    You pay support unless you are the custodial parent with full custody... and yes, he can file with the court to get it. I'm not saying he WILL get it... but he might if he tries. At the very least I'd get a court rulling that dictates his vistitation rights... some parents do try to use visitation as a weapon against the other parent.

    But assume nothing until DNA tests proves its his.

    If it was me, I'd be more worried about the cost of a POSITIVE test, rather than the cost of the test itself. One will be a LOT more than the other...

    In answer to your other question, if he's the father, he's going to have as many rights as the mother. How those rights work out will be determined in family court.
