I am on dependent visa (F2). I want to work as a freelancer for companies based in my home country (India).

However, I am quite confused with the legal process. I am not allowed to work in US. But will my visa be an issue even If I work as a freelance for Indian companies and deal with candidates based in India. I am not working/ assisting US companies.
