I have trying to discover the source of this movie memory of mine. I was born in 79 so it was in the 80s or 90s. It is futuristic, perhaps.. A man somehow has this child delivered to him. He arrives in this cylinder and is unpacked and he is like 5 years old or something. We did not have cable so I am pretty sure it was a pbs movie. I remember the house being pretty drab and he had to teach the boy how to be human. I do not remember much else but this feeling it gives me has haunted my memory vaults for a long time now
