I'm in 11th grade Advanced english, and I seem to be having a hard time getting good grades; especially when it comes to writing papers. I spend hours trying to write an introduction and my teacher still continues to write, "I don't understand,what are you trying to say?" and I show my friends who gets better grades and they tell me it makes since to me?

Maybe it's the teacher.. I had one teacher who didn't understand what I wrote either. All you can do is hope to have a more understanding one next year. Meanwhile ask this teacher after class sometime for some suggestions. I don't think it's at all constructive to just write 'I don't understand' on your papers. An Advanced English class teacher should have more advice than that.

Yeah, she teaches college so that's probably why it's so difficult to pass her class.
