I have a pair of table saws and planers I bought here in America to use in Africa, but found I can not use these equipments because the current there is 50 hertz. Is there any way I can get around this problem.

You can use them, but they will turn slower, which might make them ineffective.
I once tried using a 60hz electric clock in SE Asia and had 50 minute hours.
