    Is it listed in device manager?

    1. Right-Click MY Computer (or Computer)
    2. Manage
    3. Device Manager (located in left pane)
    4. Look for Webcam

    NOTE
    If you see any yellow explanation points are X's of any sort or don't see your webcam then try updating your laptop via Windows Update.
