Boyfriend is leaving for the air force
Hello everyone I am 8 weeks pregnant and my boyfriend is leaving for the air force in 3 months, he will be gone for 4 months of my pregnancy this is his first baby and my first with a good man. I really want him to bond with me and the baby even though it is early. I am sad that he won't be here for a huge part of it. What are some things we could do together now? I want him to feel involved, and for it to be fun for the both of us. Any reading, games or videos etc.. Thank you :)

One thing you might want to do is when you go to the doctor to have your checkups, see if you can get a recording of the baby's heartbeat. You can send that to him, along with a picture of your expanding belly over the months. You can also send him pics of the ultrasound(if he isn't there to see it before he leaves, although he might be, as you will be 5 months when he leaves). Just send him lots of pics, and notes of expereinces you are having (the baby kicking, baby hiccups, etc) you can make a little diary of it, and your measurements and weights with the pictures attached.(a video diary is always fun, because he can see it for himself, and then you can send a paper along with it with the other notes) you can also have him make a recording of things he wants to say to you and to the baby, and he can send that to you, and you can play it next to your baby, so that your baby can hear daddys voice and recognize it.
