My pcp is also a friend. I was in the er and he came as my pcp. He told a friend of mine why I was there. He is also 1 of 4 partners in the doctors office I work at. He discussed my er visit as my employer with them. Doesn't this violate my patient rights and as an employee I was told to take off 3 days without pay due to my er visit. Does this violate and laws?

He is one of your employers? I can't exactly tell what you are saying. Another one of your employers got info from him and you were forced to take 3 days without pay as some type of punishment for going to the ER?

I know one Physician is allowed to discuss a patient's condition with another Physician.
