If you mean a 3 way switch, you can have the switchleg from that 3 way, connect to 3 switches, then out of each switch to the 3 lights.
If a single pole switch(2 screws), then out of the main switch into the new 3 switches, then out to each switches 3 lights.

Thank you stratmando excuse my ignorance, I'll try again. We have 3 existing light switches each controlling 3 recessed lights. We were hoping to incorporate a light switch at the other end of the room whereby we could turn all nine off at once.

That can be done provided that the lights are on the same circuit (which they probably are.) And provide you can get a cable from the location where you want the switch to a point along the circuit cable before it splits off to the lights. That point could be at the switch box where the three existing switches are (assuming that the switches are all at the same location) or it could be at one of the lights in the ceiling.

However, if you turn them off at the new switch you will have to turn them back on at new switch.

A couple of diagrams, but instead of going to the light as shown, it will feed each of the 3 switches. If 1 or all the switches are on, they will be controlled.
