Craftsman electric start snow blower - help starting
I have a used 5 HP Craftsman snow blower, electric & pull starts. I've never used one, can't pull very hard, but I know it works with the pull cord. I don't know where the choke is, and suspect the electric start may be kaput. We've got a blizzard tonight, and I HAVE to get it started in a few hours if I don't want to take a vacation day because I can't get into work. I need some coaching through getting it going. I understand about pushing the primer button three times. And pulling the cord. But not sure about the choke.
I'm also having trouble finding where to download a free users manual. I know they must be there, but I haven't found the model number yet. It does have one of the good motors in it, and it seems fairly new. 5 HP, 21", single stage, auger. Green plastic. What else might someone need to know to help me?

OK, same questioner - I've read some of the other questions and answers about these snowblowers and realize I may have just wasted a bunch of money buying a snowblower that might needs LOTS of repairs. I might not even TRY to get it going tomorrow! The guy started it for me and it sounded OK, but I now realize that doesn't mean it will run for more than a minute or throw the snow or that the auger will turn, etc. etc.
I will try it of course, but we are JUST starting the worst of the snowy season here in Michigan! Should I order a new one? Are they worth repairing? I saw on the web a lot of people were sorry they bought one of these (this was AFTER I bought it of course).
    PLEASE advise...
