I have gas fireplace on my apt. And got switch on wall to turn on fireplace, but when you turn on switch nothing happen. The pilot is ligthed and I already replaced switch.

What the problem could be?

There is a problem in the walls between the switch and the fireplace. Try disconnecting the wires from both the fireplace and the switch, and pull it out of the wall. The problem could also be in your connections to each end of the wires

Could be a faulty gas valve too...

Could be allot of things
