I've been in the usa since 1999, and I became a resident in 2008. I've been paying my taxes since 1999. I will be leaving the states in the next few months for good.
I would like to know if can get refund for the social security and medicare withheld taxes I've paid during the 11 years I've been here.
I heard, I can get that if I surrender my green card to the immigration.
